The importance of stretching as part of your pre and post exercise regime should not be underestimated. Your sports massage therapist can identify specific muscle groups which may benefit from additional stretching prior to or after activity and can also suggest appropriate stretches to target these areas. Unfortunately they cannot make you do the stretches! Our general advice is to leave adequate time before and after training or competition to perform your normal warm up (or warm) down regime.
